This policy explains how CodeGuardian, Inc. collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, use the CodeGuardian Revit add-in, request support, or purchase a subscription.

Information we collect

We may collect account and contact information such as your name, email address, company, and support messages. Our website and add-in may also collect limited technical and usage information, including a pseudonymous visitor or device identifier, Revit version, CodeGuardian version, installation and launch events, scan counts, subscription status, and aggregated finding counts.

CodeGuardian does not upload your Revit model files or model geometry as part of the standard desktop scan workflow. If you intentionally use a cloud review feature, we will process the files and project information you choose to submit for that feature.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, verify subscriptions, enforce free-scan limits, process payments, respond to support requests, understand product performance, prevent abuse, and improve CodeGuardian.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate CodeGuardian, including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Stripe for payment processing, and Autodesk Platform Services when a user chooses an Autodesk-connected feature. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. CodeGuardian does not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, security, and support needs. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your CodeGuardian account, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements. You may also cancel a paid subscription through the available billing process.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as CodeGuardian changes. We will post the current version on this page and update the effective date.
